The America We Knew Before Obama

Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle we call America too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again. Thanks to Mr. Obama an his Liberal followers.

If we choose to blame the press for not vetting Obama, then we ought to ask ourselves why “we the people” didn’t demand more. Either one of two answers is possible, and neither offers much hope for the future.

We either knew who and what Obama was and represents, or we simply didn’t care. We either looked deep into his past and saw a socialist/pacifist/delusional narcissist, who had no scruples and standards whatsoever and said “he’s the one”, or he simply made us feel good with the narcotic of “hope and change” and we just wanted a temporary high to relieve us the pains of our current existence.

It is impossible that any thinking person can honestly believe that borrowing/printing and spending upwards of 10 - 15 trillion dollars is anything but a major catastrophe in the making. Yet the public, save a relatively small cadre of tea party attendees, is inattentive, perhaps by choice.

That there was not national outrage over the bow to the Saudi king probably says more than anything else. There has never been, at least as far as I can recall, such a disgraceful, disgusting, and dishonorable act by a US president. By former presidents, yeah, Carter certainly has done his share, but not by a sitting president.

I'd Love To Interview Obama!

I wish the guy in the White House would give as much attention to our situation in Afghanistan as he does to Fox News. Those Guys and Gals who are fighting over there were only ten or eleven years old when 9/11 happened. They are trained to be killers and to fight, not to talk. That's Obama's job. So if it's talking that Obama wants, then get our kids the hell out of harms way first and then let him orate to his heart's content.
These libs and their blogs are a disgrace ot America. Talk about having your head in the sand....or someplace a lot worse. I for one would just love to interview Obama or at least supply the questions to him. The first question I'd ask Barack Obama is why he's hanging our troops out to dry and allowing the Taliban to regain control of Afghanistan after all the blood that's been shed already.
Then I'd ask him why he hasn't closed GITMO yet as he promised he's do by the first of the year. Of course that's impossible.
Next I'd ask him what the hell happened to his political capital visa-vie health care.
Then I'd ask him what the hell he's doing about unemployment. Actually, that would be the first question.
Then I'd get around to ACORN because Congress, the Census Bureau, Fox News and the IRS have already dealt with them. All I'd ask Obama about ACORN is what his ties are with them today.
My last question for you Mr. Obama is why don't you want anyone from the White House talking to Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity or Beck?
I think Chris Wallace would cover all of that in an hour. And talking about Chris Wallace, I loved what you wrote about Chris Mathews, that was great.
The real comedy here is the people on the left are ALWAYS attacking the messenger for rejecting Obama’s policies instead of attacking the message.

We are not a racist country nor should we be portrayed as one. We are a tolerant nation of hardworking people who once ruled the world, I personally, and i know that i am not alone when I say that our Grandfathers and Grandmothers did absolutely not lay down their lives for the sake of their country in order for the suit wearing CEO'S of today to throw away as they see fit. I never expected to be here writing this "blog" looking for support but it seems that not too many people are willing to see what support they can find.
I am sure that if you are continuing to read this then you must emphasize with the message i am trying to relay. The indigenous people of this country are being singled out as easy targets by our government and the support given to the non indigenous people of this country seem to be welcomed and supported....it just seems so wrong to me.
Now don’t get me wrong i believe in issues such as immigration but it must be managed, it must be controlled.

It Looks Like Obama Is Still Losing

President Obama is plunging in the polls, and his health-care plans face an iffy future on Capitol Hill. His supporters blame right-wing muscle. “I think it is very hard because Democrats don’t have the message machine the Republicans do.
Say what you will about the Repubs., but at least they have one foot on planet earth......Nothing the leftist 0bama believes in is rooted in reality and he has been gobsmacked by the majority of people in this nation who will not roll over for his textbook doctrinaire Marxist power grabs.

How anyone can imagine that the government will NOT use the provisions of this bill to ration care with a panel determining "return on investment" is beyond me.

More than half of the costs of medical care arise from medical problems of the elderly. Clearly that is the only area where any significant "savings" can be found.

The plan is simple: Old people, no longer working and usually paying little or no taxes, are a drain on government and a direct threat Obama's grand marxist utopia. Withdraw care for those who will not likely live long to "amortize" the cost and divert it to those with more voting years left as dependents of the state. So lets let them just wander off into the pasture. What a sick idiot he is. I wonder if he would say that to his Typical White Grandmother!
Did you know that the Administration shall be headed by a Health Choices Commissioner (in this division referred to as the ‘‘Commissioner’’) who shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. So in fact it will be them who makes the final decision on who gets what and mabey even who shall live and who shall NOT!

We cheat the other guy and pass the savings on to you" is the real message of the socialists.

Taking an oath only means something if you have morals and honor and believe in the God that you are taking the oath to.

But, I think maybe she did something to Michael Jackson. Maybe there’s a scandal there. Maybe she’s stepping down because something’s about to come out. I don’t know, but I’m gonna just put it out there on your show so we’ll see.

Somebody Has To Say It

Okay, I need to rant.

I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael
Jackson . As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent
millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villain to many
people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people, and
I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point
of my rant.

Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their
minds with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the
country was to ENTERTAIN people, the American people find the need to
flock to a memorial in Hollywood , and even Congress sees the need to
hold a "moment of silence" for his passing?

Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a
freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades? What
about all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those
Soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war,
still raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the
United States of America . Where is there moment of silence? Where
are the people flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over
them because they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a
Soldier dies, there are more people saying "good riddance," and "thank
God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to the
sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off
their deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop
Icon?"

I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS
for Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every
service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan . They need to PUBLICLY
recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people
can live their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE,
those that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for
them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have
been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never
make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit
songs that the world will listen too. We only shed our blood, sweat
and tears so that people can enjoy what they have.

Sorry if I have offended, but I needed to say it.

Journalists to boycott MJ coverage

John Robinson, editor of the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C., and Bruce Tomaso, a journalist in Dallas, TX, respectively, have had enough ... of the Michael Jackson "silliness," as Tomaso put it.Both complained on Twitter that they were having nothing of today's memorial coverage.The News & Record won't have MJ on tomorrow's cover and Tomaso said he plans to boycott by tuning-into C-Span.
Look at the people in the public eye who have the greatest fame and the worst private lives; actors, perverts, comedians, musicians, politicians like Barack Obama, and people like Britney Spears, famous for being famous.

Immensely talented for a short period of time, MJ died on his reputation for his creativity and talent, but if you look at how he chose to live the last decades of his life, it's pathetic. The unreality of his quest for perfect love and perfect beauty killed him. He wanted to be the young Elizabeth Taylor, so beautiful it made your hair hurt. He actually believed he could do it. And now people adore him and his neuroses. "He changed my life." I am sorry to hear that.

He is being worshiped as some sort of cultural icon with people weeping and wailing and for what? Some good records and a few live shows? How did he improve society or individual lives?

Today's cultural entertainment performers like MJ and Madonna et al are symptoms of a spiritual vacuum. They are false messiahs who will only perpetuate the notion that one can find happiness in fame and wealth.
It is amazing there hasn't been a white face on the stage of the memorial and Jackson did everything he could to erase his blackness.

Being Sarah Palin is what Sarah Palin does best!

Sarah's message terrifies the lefties and assorted other anti-American types. I wish with all my heart that she will use her media star pulpit to shine a light on every single legislator that has enriched him or herself at the taxpayer expense, reveal the buried items in any new legislative bills, especially health care, and demand accountability. When accountability won't happen, she can highlight that. Won't the Won be so proud when Sarah points out his contradictions and lack of transparency?

Go Sarah, go! The contrast is what's galling your opponents.

No She's Not A Racist

On Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson was an extraordinary and gifted person, there is no doubt. But is his death worth all the air time that it has received? Farrah Fawcett died several hours before him and received little notice. Even less time was given to the deaths of Gale Storm (My Little Margie) and Karl Malden. Military personnel who die in combat deserve a few minutes of recognition by the media so the nation will be reminded day after day who has sacrificed to preserve the liberties we celebrated, nationally on Saturday.

God Bless Sarah. Keep the Palin family in your prayers. If it's any consolation, politics has been dirty in our country since its inception. History is full of disgusting politicians angling for power. Now it is done 24/7 and you can add the media and entertainment industries to the mix. We have muddled along as a country for over two centuries, hopefully, we will continue to do so.
I doubt we've seen the last of Sarah. And I pray I'm right. But meanwhile, why should she continue to place herself before the mudlsingers and professional character assassins on a daily basis, like that sleaze ball David letterman.
Whether Governer Palin has decided to simply get out of politics and focus on her beautiful, NORMAL American family, or if she has a master plan that includes eventually running for a national office, I can live with either possibility.

I do hope, however, that Sarah will continue to rally true conservatives to keep up the fight against the Forces of Evil - the democrat party. And I dare anyone to try and convince me that today's democrat party is anything less than that - pure evil.

I have been reading about Sarah Palin but not much about what she is saying, except in negative press coverage of course. Therefore it seems that she needs a press agent to release official statements from her frequently that are well thought out and analyzed by others before their release but must STILL be timely. Sarah Palin is loved by hundreds of thousands, hated by the Dems and the media, and criticized by her own party and those who should be her allies. Go figure. The only saving grace is that she isn't the first compelling conservative figure to be trampled on by those presumed to be her own kind. Remarkable turn of events, and for what? Go Sarah!
